This gorgeous fabric was purchased on the weekend from The Patch Works in West Hobart. If you live in Hobart, love fabric and haven't yet visited this beautiful shop, you must go. The setting is beautiful and they stock lots of wonderful fabric including Kaffe Fassett, lots of batiks and latest lines like Moda's It's a Hoot (the lovely polka dot in the above photo). It's like walking into a fabric wonderland.
The Verna quilt and backing are both pieced.

And this Poppy doll. She's almost done. I just need to make her a little quilt and then she'll be ready for her new home!On the renovation front, the undercoat on the kitchen cupboards is finally done and I have paint ready to go for the top coats. It will be hard to drag myself away from the sewing machine, but the positive change to the kitchen will be well worth it!
